Google wml “Go to URL”

The wml version of Google mobile search used to have a “Go To Url” option that let specify the url of a website. Google then returned a copy of the site transcoded into wml. CyclingLive Fixed Now – I hope.

If any cycling fans were trying to follow the Tour de Georgia on my CyclingLive Mobile page which is a mashup of Velonews.com’s live coverage and various mobile transcoders, I apologize for it not working. Velonews changed both the url and and the page layout and I was caught flatfooted. Site Updates

I fixed some bad links on the Yeswap.com mobile portal and the Wap Review Directory: In the /Home/Technology/Tech News section, the link to Wired News is working again. In /Home/Technology/Internet/RSS Readers, the links to Bloggo and Feedalot did not work on WAP1 phones. You could view the login pages but the ID and Password text fields were missing. It should be OK now. If you find any more bad links in the Directory or Portal, please drop me a comment.
