Opera Mobile for Android and Opera Mini for iOS Updates Fix YouTube and Facebook Bugs

Opera Software has released updates for a couple of its browsers. There’s a updated Opera Mobile for Android. The new release is Version 12.1.1 and it includes the following bug fixes: Fixed issue with commenting on Facebook Fixed issue with embedded Youtube videos Fixed issue with incorrect external URLs opening Various stability improvements. Data Saving New UC Mini 8.0 Proxy Browser for Android Now Available

UCWeb has released a new 8.0 version of its proxy based UC Browser Mini for Android. The new version is only available from the UC website and is not in the Android Play Store yet. The non-proxy version of the UC Browser 8.4.1 is in the Play Store, but it’s just a user interface wrapper around Android’s Webview class. There are lots of Webview based browsers for Android. SPeeDY New Opera Mobile 12.1 for Android With Improved CSS3 and HTML5 Support

Opera Mobile 12.1 for Android 1.6 and later was released today. It’s available now from the Play Store. Sideloaders can download the .apk from opera.com/mobile/download/versions/. This release emphasizes improved performance. Opera Software has launched Opera Mini 7.5 for Android. The major change in this release is the inclusion of Opera’s Smart Page, which has been part of Opera Mini for Java, Symbian and BlackBerry since Opera Mini Next and Opera Mini 7.0. Opera Labs Brings Extensions to Opera Mobile for Android

A few days ago, Opera Labs unveiled an early release of Opera Mobile that adds support for Opera Extensions. These are small user installable programs, similar to W3C widgets, that are built with JavaScript, HTML and CSS and add functionality to the browser. Opera Software has updated the Android version of its Opera Mini proxy browser from 6.5.2 to 7.0.
