UC Browser 8.2 Java Update Adds Swipe Navigation and Fixes the bada URL Bug

UC Mobile has released an update to the UC Browser 8.2 Beta for Java phones. The  only reported changes in this version are: A fix for the bug that prevented users from entering URLs on Samsung bada phones. On touch screen phones users can now swipe left and right to go backward and forward though session history. UC Browser Goes Gold, But Is It Still A Proxy Browser – First Look at UC 8.0.5 for Android

  The first production (non-Beta or Gold) release of UC Browser 8 is now available in the Android Market. At the moment it’s only for Andoid 2.1 and later. UC Mobile released a new version of the UC Browser for Java ME last week. It’s 8.0 Beta and is notable for its brand new, much more touch friendly user interface. UC Mobile Ltd has released a new English language version of their flagship product, the UC Browser. Although the Chinese language edition of UC Browser 8.0 has been out for some months, the new English version is a step behind at  V 7.9. UC Browser for BlackBerry Release Candidate Download Available Now

  UC Mobile Ltd is on the verge of releasing their first version of the UC Browser for BlackBerrys. You can grab a copy of the release candidate at uctest.ucweb.com:9415/test/. The download page uses WML so you need to use your BlackBerry browser or another WML capable browser like Opera desktop or Opera Mini to be able to view it.
