nayaNews.mobi – From the creators of the myToday personal mobile portal comes nayaNews. It’s a news aggregator in the style of Google News but with an emphasis on Indian and Asian news. nayaNews pulls the latest stories from the RSS feeds of a variety of Indian and world news sources including Sify.com, ZeeNews.com, NDTV.com, the Times of India, DNA – India, the BBC, Asian Age and the Business Standard. Stories are organized into sections: News, Business, Tech, World and Sports. Cricket, which is a bit of an obsession in India, gets a section of its own. Something I haven’t seen before is that nayaNews has obtained separate .mobi domains for each section so that they exist as a standalone sites with their own URLs. For example, if you just want to see cricket news you can go to nayaCricket.mobi, for business news its nayaBiz.mobi, tech is at nayaTech.mobi, etc.
