In the US that means the three week long \u00a0NCAA College Basketball Championships, <\/em>an\u00a0elimination tournament to determine the top US men’s and women’s college basketball teams. It’s an exciting series leading up to the final “Sweet 16”, “Elite 8”, \u00a0“Final 4” rounds and the nation championship game.<\/p>\n This year the men’s tournament began March 13th \u00a0and ends with the national championship on April 2nd. The women’s tourney runs from March 17th to April 1st.<\/p>\n March Madness is easily the most popular college sports event in the country. \u00a0Many of the 130 games \u00a0in the men’s and women’s tournaments are played during working hours. \u00a0Millions of workers follow the games on their PCs. \u00a0Millions more keep up with the tournament using their phones. Here’s a list of the major mobile web sites for March Madness coverage. Most work with all mobile browsers.<\/p>\n ESPN Men’s NCAA <\/strong>(image top, left)<\/p>\n m.espn.go.com\/ncb\/<\/a>\u00a0The number one mobile sports online destination has a particularly attractive and usable March Madness site. \u00a0It has just about everything you could possibly want in the way of \u00a0coverage including live play by play, news, scores, schedules, analysis, photos, team and player profiles and\u00a0the “Daily Line” betting point spreads for upcoming games.<\/p>\n ESPN Women’s NCAA\u00a0<\/strong>(image top, right) <\/a> <\/a><\/p>\n Yahoo Tourney Pick’em <\/strong>(above, left)<\/p>\n m.yahoo.com\/w\/tourney\/<\/a>\u00a0Yahoo’s March Madness\u00a0site has live scores, game stats, schedules, news, photos, columnist blogs and analysis.\u00a0 But the big draw is the\u00a0Tourney Pick’em<\/em>\u00a0fantasy contest with a $10,000 grand prize.<\/p>\n MSN\/Fox NCAA Tourney<\/strong>\u00a0(above right)<\/p>\n sports.mobile.msn.com\/en-us\/NCAABK\/<\/a>\u00a0MSN\/Fox Sports has a dedicated March Madness page with news, scores, brackets, standings, team profiles, photos and video highlights.<\/p>\n <\/a> <\/a><\/p>\n MSN\/Fox NCAA Tourney Touch<\/strong>\u00a0(above, left)<\/p>\n extreme.mobile.msn.com\/sports\/cbk\/<\/a> The\u00a0“touch” web version of the MSN\/Fox Tourney site works on most\u00a0smartphones.
