Launched in 2012 by online media powerhouse Vox (The Verge, SB Nation) Polygon grew almost overnight to become \u00a0the leading online video game news site. Much of Polycom’s success can be credited to it’s team of 20 veteran editors and reporters including former editors in chief of JoyStiq, Kotaku and The Escapist.<\/p>\n

Polygon is packed with content for serious and casual gamers alike. There are game industry news, game and game platform reviews with many videos, opinion pieces and a lively forum. Reviews can be filtered by platform (Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, PC, iOS or Android)<\/p>\n

The site uses a responsive web design to support all viewport sizes, mobile and desktop. At over 5 MB, homepage weight is enormous even for a desktop site. Most of that weight comes from the page’s 98 images.<\/p>\n
