{"id":5095,"date":"2009-09-10T13:08:34","date_gmt":"2009-09-10T20:08:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wapreview.com\/?p=5095"},"modified":"2011-04-18T12:19:06","modified_gmt":"2011-04-18T20:19:06","slug":"motorolas-first-android-the-cliq-with-motoblur","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wapreview.com\/5095\/","title":{"rendered":"Motorola&#8217;s First Android, the &#8220;Cliq&#8221; With MOTOBLUR"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Motorla Cliq Open \" src=\"https:\/\/wapreview.com\/images\/CLIQOpen500.jpg\" alt=\"Motorla Cliq Open \" width=\"500\" height=\"391\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Motorola&#8217;s first Android phone was announced today by Motorola CTO Sanjay Jha at GigaOm&#8217;s Mobilize conference in San Francisco.\u00a0 The phone is Motorola Cliq MB200, which looks like the same phone that was widely leaked as the Morrison.\u00a0 Thankfully the toy-like bright blue trim featured in most of the leaked shots has been replaced by basic black.\u00a0 Specs include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3.1-inch HVGA touch-screen display<\/li>\n<li>5 megapixel auto focus camera with geo tagging, video capture and 24 fps playback<\/li>\n<li>3.5mm headset jack<\/li>\n<li>music player with pre-loaded Amazon MP3 store application<\/li>\n<li>Google apps (Mail, Maps, Voice Search, GTalk, Market, YouTube),\u00a0 Quickoffice Viewer, Accuweather, Shazam, LastFm and\u00a0 iMeem Mobile pre-installed<\/li>\n<li>Included 2GB\u00a0 microSD memory card with support for up to 32 GB of removable memory.<\/li>\n<li>UMTS\/HSDPA, Wi-Fi with UMA<\/li>\n<li>QWERTY slide-out keyboard<\/li>\n<li>4.49 x 2.28 x 0.62 inches  (114 x 58 x 16 mm)<\/li>\n<li>5.75 oz                  <span> (163 g)<\/span><\/li>\n<li>1420 mAh battery, 6 hours talk time, 14 days stand-by<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft\" title=\"Motorola Cliq Closed \" src=\"https:\/\/wapreview.com\/images\/CliqClosed500.jpg\" alt=\"Motorola Cliq Closed \" width=\"285\" height=\"500\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Cliq will be released on T-Mobile USA in time for the holidays.\u00a0 It will be marketed worldwide as the DEXT with availability in the 4th quarter of 2009 on Orange in France and the UK, Am\u00e9rica M\u00f3vil in Latin America and Telef\u00f3nica in Spain.<\/p>\n<p>Jha promised another Motorola Android phone would be announced in two weeks.\u00a0 I suspect this is the &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.engadget.com\/2009\/07\/30\/motorola-sholes-android-phone-headed-for-verizon\/\">Sholes<\/a>&#8221; a\u00a0 CDMA handset for Verizon.
