If any cycling fans were trying to follow the Tour de Georgia on my CyclingLive<\/a> Mobile page which is a mashup of Velonews.com’s live coverage and various mobile transcoders, I apologize for it not working.<\/p>\n Velonews changed both the url and and the page layout and I was caught flatfooted. The new Velonews Live web site<\/a> is actually very cool with an iFrame that shows the riders progress live on Google maps. But the new site is not as inherently mobile friendly as the old one was. It looks terrible via the Google transcoder with text all mashed together and garbage characters in place of single and double “smart quotes”.
