Google's Maps mobile web app combines maps, driving, cycling, transit and walking directions and local search.
On most smartphones with GPS capabilites, maps.google.com/maps/ launches a scrollable, zoomable map centered on your current location. If GPS is disabled or not supported, a search box is displayed initially. Enter an address to display a static map of the location. Sometimes the static map is all you get in basic browsers, but there's often a link to a landmark above the map that launches an interactive map with buttons for directions and map layers.
