Boing.mobi (boing.mobi/) Another new .mobi themed directory, portal and search engine which has about 80 links including many that are new to me.

mdog: (www.mdog.com/start.php) mDog is Unified Mobility‘s new brand. mDog moibilizes dozens of mainstream news, sports and entertainment sites which are linked from this new portal site. mDog has a couple of new features that look interesting. There’s a page that lets you to post to your hosted WordPress.com, Blogger, LiveJournal, Typepad or Xanga blog. Another nice feature is a well designed front end to eBay where you can search. bid and track your watched items. It even shows small images of auction items unlike eBay’s own mobile site.

cbsSportsline.com: has a new mobile url (cbs.volantis.net/sportsline/) and a new and very attractive site design. The old site was text only, the new one has images resized to browser widths and flashy image gradients. Content’s not bad either.

VcellSpace: (www.vcellspace.com) A free third party mobile interface to MySpace.com that works with all providers. Read and reply to MySpace mail, post bulletins, view friend’s galleries. No registration is required for Vcellspace but you must have a MySpace account. There is also a Vcellspace Java app which has all the same features and also lets you upload photos directly from your camera phone to MySpace. ItsMy: (mobile.itsmy.com/) A mobile social community featuring user generated content (videos and pictures), messaging, chat, your own mobile homepage and a forum. Uploading is by MMS to a common email address, [email protected]. This looks like a great MoSoSo site except that you have to register your mobile phone number in order to upload, which I consider risky. It doesn’t help that the site’s privacy policy seems to be in German only although everything else is available in German, English and Spanish.
