Google promised to release the Android source code when the first handset went on sale.  The T-Mobile Dream Android phone will be officially available tomorrow in the US.  And true to their word, Google released the source today.  It’s at source.android.com/download, where you can also find instructions for building Android on Ubuntu and Mac OS.
