The Mobile Monday team of Daniel Appelquist, Gregory Gorman, Mike Rowehl, Peter Vesterbacka and Rudy De Waele together with dotopen and ESADE have put together another Mobile 2.0 event, this one to be held in Barcelona on July 4th, 2008. Details are here.

I had the pleasure of attending the first two Mobile 2.0 events here in San Francisco and I have to say that they are the best mobile conferences I’ve ever attended anywhere. Mobile 2.0 brings together the biggest names in the mobile industry for a lively and informal day of talks, demos and panels in an intimate venue with no PowerPoints! Unlike most conferences, Mobile 2.0 is very reasonably priced, only € 99 until May 31, € 199 after that date.

Mobile 2.0 Europe will be offering startups the opportunity to present and demo. There are three separate rounds for startups in Seed Capital Stage and those Pre and Post Series A funded. The top presentations in each category will be invited to present at the 3rd San Francisco Mobile 2.0, November 3rd, 2008.There’s no charge to apply but applications must be submitted by June 6th.
