 American IdolEntertainment/TV

American Idol ( Official American Idol site. I found this on the ATT/Cingular’s portal but most features including Contestant bio’s and show recapswill work from any network. ATT customers can also buy and download ringtones, participate in contests and chat with contestants.


XING ( A social network for businesses professionals, XING now has a mobile site. Similar to, the site allows registered users to make and maintain business contacts. Register on the web at Basic membership is free.


Upcoming ( Mobile edition of the popular online event calendar. Search for events by zip code or address. Register to save events to your personal calendar. ( Find the lowest prices for gasoline by US zip code. Via: Tappity Recently Added

Technology/Mobile/Mobile Social

 TapTapTapTap ( Social bookmarking and rating site. “Tap” your favorite sites – works like Digg, the sites with the most “Taps” sites move to the top of the listings. Registration is not necessary to submit and Tap sites but registered users can create notes on the PC and view then on the mobile web.

Zinadoo ( lets you create a simple mobile site in a few minutes using templates and a WYSIWYG editor. Zinadoo sites can have images, external links including click to call numbers and a contact page. Aimed at both businesses and individuals, sites on a subdomain, like, are free. You can upgrade to your own .mobi domain for the cost of the domain registration ($20/year). lets you build your own mobile community site to keep in touch with friends or make new ones. A site comes with forums, private messaging and chat rooms. You can add a logo, picture and three links. Sites can be customized with skins and or even add your own stylesheet. Other users register to join your community and participate in your forums and chat.

  1. The Mvies site,, is really a useful mobile site and is accurate too!!!

    I wish more people in delhi use it and gain from the information available in their hands thru their mobiles.
